Steps
to follow: 1. Take 20 minutes to read four Web-based materials about the artists Claude Monet and Paul Cezanne. Click on the links at the bottom of this page to access the materials. 2. Engage in a pertinent post-reading activity with the teacher for 30 minutes. Or, if you are assigned to a traditional WebQuest lesson group, continue to read the materials for another 30 minutes. 3. Finally, write an essay comparing and contrasting the work of the two artists. In writing the essay, focus on some aspects and/or characteristics of their work.
